Obtrex One is a premium prenatal vitamin formulated to help reduce some of the unpleasant side effects associated with pregnancy and prenatal vitamin supplementation, while providing the latest in prenatal nutrition.
Women need at least 400 mcg of folic acid every day, but up to 50 percent of women have an impaired ability to convert the synthetic folic acid into the active folate that our bodies need. For these women, Quatrefolic® is an important supplement. Quatrefolic® is a new generation, bioavailable form of folate that helps protect babies from brain and spine defects, even when taken by mothers with an impaired ability to break down folic acid.
Quatrefolic Key Benefits:Over 50% of Pregnant Women Have Methylenetetrahydrofolate Reductase (MTHFR)
Patients with MTHFR polymorphism cannot fully metabolize folic acid to its active form and are at risk of neural tube defects (NTD)
